1929 Baker 25-50 Gas Tractor
I got this Baker special from George Stankus in 1996.
It had a LeRoi Special engine and freighting wheels.
The motor was free but it didn't run.
I got the Wheels sand blasted and painted. I cleaned up the heads and ground the valves.
I wire brushed all the surface rust off and painted the chassis and fenders
I got everything freed up and
lubricated. We pull started it for the first start. After that I crank
started it.
It ran great. I put decals on the fenders and frame. I attached the roof with new metal on it.
The Historical Engine Society hauled the Baker to many power exhibitions in Burton.
I advertised it for sale in 2004 and Rob Davis from Tenn. bought it
