1912 Cadilac Truck
My wife helped me strip and paint the frame. The wheels were sanded filled and painted. New tubes and tires were mounted on the wheels. The valves were ground and the engine reassembled. The cone clutch was relined. A new wood fire wall and running boards were made varnished. The oiling system was rebuilt. The magneto and the dual ignition system were connected. The steering wheel was refinished and the seering column polished. | ![]() |

I cleaned the water passages and polished
the copper water jackets. The engine was reasembled. The old copper gas tank was cleaned and
installed; the carb overhauled and various wires, hoses and lines connected. It was started
and debugged several times and still debugging.
The bed of the truck had split apart from loading. It was pulled back together and reinforced. The floor boards and side boards in the truck bed were replaced. |
The new fenders were fitted and additional brackets were made. New splash aprons were made. I had a new buggy seat made and got it upolstered.. | ![]() |
